Excerpt: "Aaron McGloin Dance and guests put on a sumptuous tour-de-force of McGloin’s past and present work, including two pieces from his college days at ASU. The end product was mercurial yet substantial, playful yet poignant, and mature well beyond McGloin’s 24 years. McGloin’s early work demonstrates that he already possessed a rare choreographic and musical sophistication as a student." Click here to read more...

Movement Tells the Story
Aaron McGloin Dance
"This modern dance company and its namesake founder, Aaron McGloin (a popular choreographer around the Valley), are young and hungry — and it shows in their performances at such events as the Valley Fever Arts Festival. AMD will be launching a new season soon, so be sure to keep an eye on this Arizona-bred collective!"
July 07, 2007 - Review - CHICAGO TRIBUNE
"...Aaron McGloin, a tall dancer with an elegant line, demonstrates unselfconsciously quirky choreography, with a whisper of existential despair. His solo, 'Fear of Flying,' in which he faces an unknown future through limbs retracting and stretching to infinity, is an engaging psychological study. 'A View From Above,' exploring the gravitational pull of love as a duet for himself and Denise Baker on harness, recalls choreographer Susan Marshall's operatic 'Kiss,' which is in Hubbard Street Dance Chicago's Repertory. But McGloin takes a more whimsical detour."
